Here are some of the sunflowers that I grew from seed this year!    I live in the desert, where the days are really, really hot!!!!    I watered these plants three times a day on very hot days....worth it!!!

Things go better with Coke.............

A Papillon, Pomeranian and Teddy Bears sit together in their Coca Cola wagon.   Trinket, Jackson and three stuffed friends are waiting for a ride.    

This oil painting was inspired by two special dogs living in Montana.  Their cabin was filled with Coca Cola memorabilia and American flags were everywhere.  Each morning of my visit, I received wake up kisses and encouraging nuzzles. 
I was cutoff from phone and Internet service for weeks.  Hard at first but a blessing after a few days!
These delightful dogs not only provided company, entertainment and a calming effect but each spirit served as my muse as I returned to my studio and a blank canvas.
I found the Coke wagon at an antique shop close to my home.   I have taken numerous photos of my cats in it but decided that the ultimate use for it was in a painting.
 Have a cold coke and enjoy!!!!    Things do indeed go better with Coke!!!!
