I saw this old house in San Luis Obispo one spring day. The wisteria was stunning.
Not painting these beautiful vines was never an option!

Things go better with Coke.............
A Papillon, Pomeranian and Teddy Bears sit together in their Coca Cola wagon. Trinket, Jackson and three stuffed friends are waiting for a ride.
This oil painting was inspired by two special dogs living in Montana. Their cabin was filled with Coca Cola memorabilia and American flags were everywhere. Each morning of my visit, I received wake up kisses and encouraging nuzzles. I was cutoff from phone and Internet service for weeks. Hard at first but a blessing after a few days!
These delightful dogs not only provided company, entertainment and a calming effect but each spirit served as my muse as I returned to my studio and a blank canvas.
I found the Coke wagon at an antique shop close to my home. I have taken numerous photos of my cats in it but decided that the ultimate use for it was in a painting.
Have a cold coke and enjoy!!!! Things do indeed go better with Coke!!!!

GOTCHA.......................
A rainbow trout faces a serious delimma. This colorful oil painting is on it's way to Montana to grace a wall rather than a table. The worm was placed back in the garden. Not everyone can be happy all of the time.

Newport Afternoon.............
A beautiful azure sky, a wonderful welcoming sign, and just enough breeze to sail along the Newport Harbor.
My painting was done especially to be auctioned for the 2011 Trace3 Culinary Masters event to be held at the Balboa Bay Club on May 22, 2011. The event this year is for Project HOPE School Foundation. in the auctions.
I know that this event will be one of the highlights of the year for Orange County. The homeless children in O.C. will be so thankful for the attendees and their generous donations. All the chefs are truly wonderful, as are their incredible food presentations. One could not hope to find a more beautiful event!!!!
Come and enjoy the event and bid on the spectacular items A spectacular day on Balboa Island inspired this painting.
Congratulations to Project Hope for an event well done!!!!

PK King paints in Monet's garden.......
The most beautiful place to paint is in Claude Monet's garden in Giverny. The arrangement of colors makes one's eyes dance.
Monet painted what he saw, as did I.

Equal opportunity employer......
This is Moses, brown Tabby cat. He was rescued from the bushes alongside a very busy highway.

Hugs and Kisses....................
Again, Pearl is the subject of affection for a small child!
What can I say, people of all ages stop their cars and cross streets to see her.
A Special Place.............
This painting hangs over the fireplace and brings a special joy into our days and nights!
Baldwin Lake near Pasadena is very beautiful after the rain.
Lunch in Rome
This painting brings back memories of warm air, delightful aromas, beautiful color and joyful people!
Springtime at the Mission
This is a still wet painting of a colorful spot at the San Juan Capistrano Mission....one of my favorite sites for painting! It's a large one....40x30.
